Who are the stakeholders?
The stakeholders represent a wide range of interests including community leaders, residents, landowners and federal/state/local governments. The members of the group were initially identified by CDR Associates, a mediator organization which facilitated the stakeholders group process for the first year or two. Membership may be expanded. The stakeholders group has created two work groups, which were convened and facilitated by Michele Straube of Community Resolution, Inc.
The stakeholders group is intended to be a discussion forum that represents many facets of the community. It is not a voting or decision making body, nor is it intended to fully represent the public.
